Simple Flex
Radcliffe, David, Shawn, Martin aka “Simple Flex” aka “Simplicity” was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica (April 4, 1989). Simple Flex went to Holly Family Primary School in the inner city of South Side, Central, Kingston after which he passed and attended Ascot High School in Portmore, St Catherine where he ran into trouble conforming to the rules of the school . In that same year of getting kicked out, he was then place into Inswood High School where he got into a second round of trouble. At that point, Simple Flex stopped going. At the age of 16, Simple Flex stopped going to school altogether. During his time at home he started composing lyrics. He then was introduced to the National Youth Service by a lady of an angel “Mrs. Foster” , where he achieved a clerical administration certificate. Simple then went on to the Heart Trust NTA where he achieved a level 1, 2 certificate in welding and a level 1 in Commercial Food Preparation at the national vocational level.

 

Simplicity started composing lyrics in the year of (2005). His first song was “On Ma Mind”, a song his friends rated, which influenced him to continue composing. He started out laying vocals on his cousin’s home computer with a computer microphone. His first official recording (“Baby Come Whine On Me”) took place at Music Factory in Swallow Field Kingston JAMAICA, where he collaborated with his brother “Kaliba” aka Andre Austin. In the year of 2007, Simplicity entered the MAGNUM KING AND QUEEN OF THE DANCEHALL with the name Simple Flex in which he passed the first round with flying colors. He didn’t get past the second round because he was nervous.
