Blacka G

Blacka G
Mark Duncan aka “Blacka G” was born in the island of Jamaica. Blacka G migrated to the United States in the Mid 80’s where he lived in the state of Connecticut. His musical talents were discovered by his brother Norman aka “Influence” and was encouraged by his cousins Lorvin and Kurtvin aka “Bliss” and “Huddy”. Blacka G then moved to Virginia where he recorded his first single “I Plant The Seed” which was played on local sound systems in Connecticut and Virginia.

Blacka G went on to doing jingles and dub plates for local sound systems. He then formed a group with his brother and cousin called “SpedLo”, they recorded a few songs that did well underground, in the streets and also in the local clubs of Virginia. The SpedLo crew grew locally and started their own record label called “Cashino Records” in June 2009. The label is now shopping for a distribution deal.
